Parents may find themselves engaged in a battle right now about the school supplies that their kids think that they need. Most parents believe that the name-brand school supplies that kids want are a waste of money. And most kids believe that they absolutely have to have the latest new school supplies out there or they are going to get off to a bad start socially with the kids in their classes.

It is important to try to strike a balance about the school supply issue if you want the school year to get off to a good start for both you and your children.
