Undecided About College

I’m a high school senior who hasn’t decided if I want to go to college - at least not yet. My family has a large livestock farm, and I’m not sure I really want to do anything besides farming. My parents, who didn’t get past high school, say they can help with a year or two of college, but it’s up to me whether I go at all.
My older brother, who is a law professor, said why not look at some online colleges and see what they have to offer, just to get a taste? He said one of his best students had an online paralegal degree which was helping her work her way through law school as a part-time paralegal. Students could just take an occasional course; they didn’t even have to be interested in any online college degrees at all, or they could be looking for online doctoral programs.
It’s not like I have to do anything right away, either. Some schools even let you start anytime of the year. My brother’s a smart guy and I think he’s right to say I should try a course or two before I decide what I really want to do, because these days it’s best to have additional employment opportunities.
